Lights On Ceremony, Carols & Fireworks
Sunday December 10th from 6pm
This iconic event brings together family and friends for the official opening of the Lobethal Lights.
This fun evening takes place in and around the Main Street of Lobethal.
The Centenial Hall Market is open every night from the 10th - 30th December (excluding December 25th), from 6pm to 11pm. This is the place to browse a variety of arts and craft stalls and to discover and enjoy a range of local produce. Local community members will be serving light refreshments inside, plus strawberries and ice-cream and a sausage sizzle out the front. There will be a wonderful selection of food stalls and the local pubs, cafes, takeaway and Kloses Foodland will be open till late each night of the event.
Santa will make his official entrance in his new cave down at Mill Square and will be available to see until the 22nd December.
Carols in the Valley starts at 7pm at the Lutheran Church, Main Street, which is followed by the opening ceremony and fireworks.
Lights On Ceremony & Fireworks - from 8.30pm - 9pm. We welcome characters from Beauty and the Beast to open the lights festival and switch on the lights. The switching on of the lights marks the start of the lights festival, this is followed by the large fireworks display on the Lobethal Lutheran School oval.
Light Displays - Of course this is the main attraction of the festival. The Lobethal community light up their homes and businesses to create an impressive display throughout the town.
This is a Family Event. Please leave your drinks at home, and keep it a Dry Zone.
Please ensure your animals are safe and secure during the Fireworks Display.
